Point-of-Use Lab Water

Point-of-Use Lab Water 2017-08-09T13:51:54-07:00

Medical and industrial laboratories now have two economical options for producing laboratory grade and Type I ultrapure water for analytical, life sciences and general lab purposes. Both point of use lab water systems produce Type I ultrapure water that meets or exceeds ASTM, CLSI, CAP, and ISO Type I water standards.

Lab Water Purification System (Model 0021-0024)

The Lab Water Purification System produces ultrapure water from reverse osmosis (RO), distillation or deionized water. The system includes a purification cartridge, 0.2 micron PES capsule filter and a 185/254nm dual wavelength UV lamp.

Features

  • Automatic system recirculation every hour to prevent bacteria from growing inside the system
  • Large capacity ultra-purification cartridges contain uniquely formulated ion resin and fine activated carbon to ensure long useful life and a low running cost

  • A 0.2 micron final filter removes any remaining contaminants

  • A dual UV lamp eliminates bacteria and reduces organics to trace level

  • Volumetric dispensing and calibration for easy dispensing of ultrapure water

  • Real time resistivity measurement by a high precision resistivity meter (conductivity cell constant 0.01cm-1)

  • Alarms when consumables reach the end of life

  • Small compact footprint occupies minimal space and is easy to move around with an ergonomically designed handle

Direct Lab Water Purification System (Model 0021-0023)

The Direct Lab Water Purification System is an integrated system which can produce ultrapure and reverse osmosis (RO) water directly from tap water.  System includes a 3-stage prefiltration kit, RO membrane, 30L PE water tank with level sensor, tank vent filter with CO2 remover, high purity water filter cartridge, ultrapure water filter cartridge, 0.2 micron capsule filter and a 185/254nm dual wavelength UV lamp.

Features

  • Prefiltration pack removes large particles, calcium and organic compounds, protecting RO membrane for extended life
  • Fully automated control system has pre-rinse, RO membrane fouling prevention flush, RO membrane and cartridge life detection

  • Automatic RO membrane rinse for new membranes

  • Two sets of dual-column purification cartridges work sequentially to ensure thorough removal of trace ions and organics in water

  • Programmable water dispensing for ease of water collection

  • A 0.2 micron final filter removes any remaining contaminants

  • The PE tank with conical bottom ensures no dead space to prevent bacteria growth

  • A dual wavelength UV lamp kills bacteria and reduces organics to trace level

  • System removes over 99% of large molecules and particles and 95% of ions in water

  • Resistivity is measured by a high-precision resistivity meter (conductivity cell constant 0.01cm-1)
