DEIONIZERS

DEIONIZED WATER

AmeriWater’s Silex deionizers are an economical and convenient choice for producing high quality DI water at a fraction of the cost of new resin. These units are ideal for small to mid-size applications. A PVC housing contains a pack of ion exchange resin or other filter media based on your water specifications. The systems can include various pre-filters, post-filters and monitors to make a complete integrated water treatment system. Benefits of using our deionizers are no monthly rent, no per gallon fee, no service or delivery fee, and a low initial investment. AmeriWater’s certificate system makes exchanging resin packs simple and easy!

FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING 10 GALLONS PER DAY OR LESS*

A very economical deionizer for small quantity users. The system utilizes three 2700 grain Silex Wall Mounted Deionizer(as CaCO3) mixed bed cartridges providing greater than 15 megohm/cm water resistivity. The monitor light glows green when the resistivity is above the set point and glows red when it is time to change cartridges. Two monitors are available: 50,000 ohms/cm and 1,000,000 ohms/cm. Complete system includes water quality light, wall bracket, installation kit and filter wrench for quick and easy exchange of the resin pack.

FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING 10-30 GALLONS PER DAY*

Silex single housing deionizer is designed for smaller users of deionized water, i.e. labs,Silex Single Housing Deionizer eye glass stores, small batch mixing, cigar humidifiers, polishing of RO product water, and small ultra-sonic cleaners. The Silex deionizer uses a pack of mixed bed resin that is sent back to the regeneration center to be recharged. A spare pack is usually purchased so they can be alternated for regeneration. The regeneration service is only a fraction of the cost of disposable deionizer cartridges. The all-plastic PVC housing is durable and the packs are easy to exchange. Different model packs produce different water quality for various applications. Units are available with or without casters and with different resistivity monitors (20,000, 50,000 or 200,000 ohms/cm) or no monitor.

FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING 30-75 GALLONS PER DAY*

The Silex dual worker/polisher deionizer is designed for greater usage than the single Silex Dual Housing Deionizerhousing system and/or higher water quality. Uses include labs, critical spot free rinsing, polishing RO product water for ultra-pure requirements, chemical dilution and mixing, humidification, etc. The Silex deionizer uses packs of mixed bed resin that is sent back to the regeneration center to be recharged. A spare set is usually purchased so they can be alternated for regeneration. The regeneration service is only a fraction of the cost of disposable deionizer beds or cartridges. The all PVC housings are durable and the packs are easy to exchange. Pre and post filtration is available as well as resistivity monitors that change from green to red when it’s time to exchange the packs. Units are available with a resistivity monitor of 10,000, 50,000, 200,000 ohms/cm or no monitor.
